# Live Chat API Automation (Website Bot)

### What is Live Chat Post-Completion Action?

The **Live Chat Post-Completion Action** feature allows you to automatically trigger configured third-party APIs once a live chat ends on the Website Bot.

This ensures that leads generated during live chat are automatically sent to integrated platforms (like CRM, helpdesk, or other connected systems) without manual effort.

### How to Use Live Chat API Automation

1. Login to the BotPenguin Platform.
2. Go to **“More”** from the left sidebar.
3. Click on **“3rd Party APIs”**.
4. Configure the required APIs by adding necessary credentials and saving the settings.

5. Now navigate to your **“Website Bot”**.
6. Open **“Configure Bot's Settings”**.

7. Go to the General Tab.

8. Enable the toggle **“Perform Action After Live Chat Completion”** and save the changes.
9. Choose the API to trigger from the dropdown.

Once this toggle is enabled and API is set to trigger:

* Whenever an ongoing live chat is completed,
* The configured APIs will automatically trigger,
* Leads will be added to the connected platforms based on the API configuration order.
