# Setup Claude Integration

#### What is Claude?

Claude is an AI assistant developed by Anthropic. Integrating Claude with your Agency Panel allows you to connect Claude's AI capabilities to your platform using your own Anthropic API key, giving you direct control over the AI model powering your setup.

#### How to Set Up Claude Integration

Follow the two-part process below: first generate your API key from Anthropic's platform, then connect it in your Agency Panel.

#### A. Getting Your Claude API Key from Anthropic

1. Go to [https://platform.anthropic.com](https://platform.anthropic.com/) and click **"Sign Up"** or **"Sign In"** using your email or Google account.

2. If you are signing up for the first time, complete the onboarding steps by entering your name and company name.

3. If prompted to choose between an Individual or Organization account, select Individual if you are unsure.

4. After completing onboarding, you may be directed to a **billing screen**. You must **purchase credits** before you can generate an API key.
   1. Add a payment method and purchase the minimum required credits to proceed.

5. Once you have credits, you will arrive at the Anthropic Platform home screen.

6. Click on "Get API Key" from the top-right area of the screen.

7. On the API Keys page, click "Create API Key".
   1. Enter a recognizable name for your key (e.g., "Agency Panel").
   2. Click "Create API Key".
8. Your API key will now be displayed. Copy it immediately and store it in a secure location.

#### B. Connecting Claude in Your Agency Panel

1. Log in to your **Agency Panel**.
2. Click on **"Integrations"** from the left sidebar.

3. Search for "**Claude**" or scroll through the list to locate it.
4. Click "**Connect**" next to Claude.

5. Paste the **API key** you copied from Anthropic into the field provided.
6. Click **"Connect"** to finalize the integration.

Once connected, the Claude integration status will update to **"Integrated"** in your Integrations list.

### Troubleshooting

**Likely Cause:** The API key was copied incorrectly or contains extra spaces.

**Resolution:** Copy the API key again from the Anthropic Platform and paste it into the integration field. Ensure there are no leading or trailing spaces.

<summary>Unable to generate an API key on the Anthropic Platform</summary>

**Likely Cause:** Billing has not been set up or credits have not been purchased.

**Resolution:** Add a payment method and purchase the required credits. API key generation becomes available only after credits have been added to the account.

**Likely Cause:** The API key is invalid, expired, or the session timed out during setup.

**Resolution:** Re-enter the API key and click **Connect** again. If the issue persists, generate a new API key and retry the connection.

**Likely Cause:** Anthropic displays API keys only once at the time of creation.

**Resolution:** Navigate to **Anthropic Platform → API Keys**, create a new API key, and update the integration using the new key.

**Likely Cause:** Required onboarding information was not provided.

**Resolution:** Complete all onboarding steps, including name, company details, and account type selection, before proceeding.

**Likely Cause:** The integration was disconnected or the API key was revoked.

**Resolution:** Verify that the Claude integration shows as connected. If necessary, reconnect using a valid API key.

**Likely Cause:** The key may have been deleted, revoked, or copied incompletely.

**Resolution:** Generate a new API key from the Anthropic Platform and update the integration with the new credentials.
