6. Important Considerations
a. Active Country Requirement
The platform requires a minimum of one country to be marked as Active at all times.
If all countries are disabled, the configuration will not be valid.
b. Default Country Rules
A country must be marked as Active before it can be set as Default.
Only one country can be set as Default at a time.
If a new Default is selected, it automatically replaces the previous Default.
c. Country Visibility
Only countries marked as Active will:
Appear in country selection dropdown.
Appear in phone code selection fields.
If a country is not visible in a dropdown, verify that it is marked as Active in Service Regions Management.
d. Location Detection and Fallback Behaviour
The system may attempt to detect a user’s location.
If the detected country is Active, it may be preselected.
If the detected country is not Active, the configured Default country will be used instead.
e. Configuration Updates
Updates made in Service Regions Management apply across the platform.
In some cases, refreshing the page may be required to reflect the latest configuration.
